The reflector has at least one convergent or diverging reflector sections (2,3) with facets (15) covering the surface. A divergent or convergent reflector section (3) adjoining the facetted reflector section (2) has a smooth inner surface. The reflector sections can be alternately convergent and divergent. The innermost reflector section is preferably convergent and has facets covering the surface. The facets are shaped so that the expansion of the parallel beam is preferably between 2 x 15 degs to 2 x 30 degs. The facets can have a cylindrical, toroidal or ball shape. |
