The accumulator device has temperature probes (16,20). At least two accumulator tanks (2,3) are provided, of which one (2) has the hot water feed (4) and the user water conduit (6). This tank is connected with a connecting conduit (9) leading away from its lowest area (8) with the upper area (10) of the second accumulator tank. The two accumulator tanks are arranged next to one another, whereby in the case of tanks with a round cross-section auxiliary apparatus is arranged in the face spaces between the tanks.
