PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method for a front end part capable of preventing an adhesive tape, a needle or the like from being mixed with the material when dropped without lowering the yield of a material. SOLUTION: Sprockets 33 are mounted near the bottom and the top of a guide apron 30, and an endless chain 31 is tensed over the outer periphery of the guide apron 30. At least three needle units 34 having a needle 342 protruding toward the surface of a paper tube T respectively at part of the chain 31 are mounted at uniform intervals. The needle 342 is inserted into a web W to be locked on the surface of the paper tube T, and tuned with the rotation of the paper tube T to drive the chain 31.
