PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a valve resistant to long-term use at low cost by constituting a valve for diesel engine, particularly, the valve element of an outlet valve of a lower part and an upper part axially connected to the lower part, and mutually connecting the upper and lower parts by two mechanical connecting parts. SOLUTION: A valve element 1 is formed of a valve plate 2 capable of sitting on a cylinder head-side valve seat, and a valve shaft 3 connected to the valve plate 2, and constituted by connecting a lower part 4 having the valve plate 2 and a part of the valve shaft 3 to an upper part 5 of the remaining part of the valve shaft 3. The lower part 4 exposed to corrosive gas and thermal stress in operating state is formed of a material resistant to heat in a high grade, and the upper part 5 is formed of the more economical material. The upper and lower parts 5, 4 are strongly connected by two mechanical connecting parts, which are a welding connecting means and a sleeve 6 contracted on the valve shaft 3 to act as a compression sleeve. |
