摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative glucose level meter for a case when satisfactory measurement cannot be executed in a specific wavelength by equipping an information processing means to obtain the glucose concentration in a human body based on detecting signals which are obtained by irradiating light of one wavelength within near infrared light in a prescribed wavelength range to a human body, detecting the light passed through the human body, and optically converting the light passed through the human body. SOLUTION: This nondestructive optical blood glucose level meter is equipped with a means 101 to irradiate light of on wavelength within ultraviolet light in 0.12-0.33μm of wavelength to a human body, a means 103 to detect and optically convert the light passed through the human body, and a means 105 to calculate the glucose concentration in the human body based on the optically converted signals. A light irradiating means 101 is equipped with, for instance, a light source 1, a light collecting part 111 equipped with a grating 107 and mirror 109 to spectroscopically process the light from the light source 1 to irradiate at least one wavelength light within the ultraviolet light to a human body, and a detecting part 113 to detect the collected light. The means to calculate the glucose concentration is constituted of a calculating part to store and process detected data by a prescribed calculation process.
