PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly mount a lightweight and inexpensive protection net by attaching an annular flat part orthogonal to the rotating shaft of a motor and flushed with the surface opposite to the motor of a motor stay to the tip opposite to a heat exchanger of a shroud, and mounting the flat protection net on the flat part. SOLUTION: In a blower device 1, cooled air is introduced from a fan 3 to a heat exchanger 2 through a shroud 4. The upper parts of a motor stay 6 for supporting a motor 5 for rotating the fan 3 and the shroud 4 are covered with a flat protection net 7 to prevent penetration of dust to the heat exchanger 2 and the fan 3. In this case, an annular flat part 4a is formed on the end surface opposite to the heat exchanger 2 in a support part 4 m to the motor stay 6 of the shroud 4. The protection net 7 using an annular net consisting of an expanded metal having an opening in the center is directly mounted on the annular flat part 4a situated in about the same height as the upper surface of the motor stay 6.
