PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming die which is capable of shortening the forming time to form a work having serrations and notches compared with the conventional value, and preventing the breakage of the forming die attributable to the forming pressure during the forming operation. SOLUTION: A forming die is provided with a serration die 1 having a hole 1b with an opening 1a, a serration forming land 1c formed in a middle of the hole 1b and having an uneven part 1f for forming a serration on an inner circumference, and a hole 1g for arranging a punch which is provided at the position opposite to the opening across the serration forming land 1c away from the serration forming land 1c by a specified distance, partly communicated with the hole 1b and extended in a direction orthogonal to the hole 1b, and a punch 2 which is arranged in the hole 1g for arranging the punch of a serration die 1, and movable in the direction orthogonal to the hole 1b in the bole 1g for arranging the punch, and in which a part of a tip surface is located inside a projecting end of the serration forming land 1c.
