PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture gears of high accuracy capable of preventing generation of ghost sound during vehicle-travelling efficiently and at low cost. SOLUTION: A gear work 5 is rotatably supported on a shaft body 43 at its center in a horizontal position, and the shaft body 43 is rotatably supported on a supporting member 41 rotatable along a vertical wall. A table 2 on which the supporting member 41 is provided, is straight moved by a screw shaft 3. A dressing gear 7 is rotatably supported on a shaft body 63 at its center in a horizontal position, and the shaft body 63 is rotated by a driving motor 8. The table 2 is moved to engage the gear work 5 with the dressing gear 7 to perform gear grinding.
