PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fail-safe function in the case of a breakdown of a throttle opening sensor, in a fully electronic control throttle system. SOLUTION: When one of two throttle opening sensors has a breakdown, a fuel injection amount is calculated by a second fuel injection amount calculating circuit 35 in accordance with both an engine speed N and an accelerator opening APO which is detected by an accelerator opening sensor. Thereby, even if an opening of a throttle valve abnormally increases, the fuel injection amount does not excessively increase and is properly set.
