PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by joining a piping member of a coolant connected to the jacket part for flowing the coolant to a suspension arm for connecting a damper in a damper device for operating the damper to the elongating side by vapor pressure of a pressure medium by heating/vaporizing the pressure medium. SOLUTION: A liquid phase pressure medium (a) in a pressure chamber 13 is heated/vaporized to increase vapor pressure in the pressure chamber 13 to push down a damper rod 2 by the vapor pressure. Thus, a damper is operated to the elongating side to raise a car height. The jacket part 22 is formed in such a car height adjusting part 11, a reserve tank 23 for storing a coolant and a pump 24 are arranged in a sub-frame SF, and a piping member 25 connected through a flexible hose 25a to both connecting ports 22c of the jacket part 22 is joined to a suspension arm 9 for connecting the damper. The suspension arm 9 is made to function as a heat radiating fin, and the coolant warmed by the jacket part 22 can be cooled by the air-cooling action by a driving wind.
