PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the costs of a torsional damper through decrease of the number of component parts and facilitation of the assembly and enhance the durability of its resilient piece which supports the inner mass resiliently. SOLUTION: An adapter 8 includes a disc 8A whose central part is left open and an engaging flange 8B formed at the peripheral edge of the disc 8A in such a way as folded to inside so as to be engaged with the inner surface of a cylindrical part 3, and a ring-shaped inner mass 7 is provided inside the disc 8A through a first resilient piece 9, and a second resilient piece 10 to be in pressure contact with the inner surface of a flange 2 is provided at that end face of inner mass 7 on the side opposite the disc 8A, wherein the part near inside in the radial direction of the flange 2 inner surface where the second resilient piece 10 makes pressure contact protrudes toward the disc 8A to form a receptacle 2A, which is formed as a taper surface or with the angle part rounded, and the first resilient piece 9 is positioned in dislocation outward in the radial direction from the opening in the central part.
