PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a gate locking device and outward appearance. SOLUTION: A gate bar 15 is pivotally supported into a front part of a console box 13 on the getting-in/out opening 5 side and at the side of a driver's seat of a cabin, so as to be rotatable around a horizontal axis, and a gate bar operating lever 16 for putting the gate bar 15 in action is pivotally supported in an oscillating manner to the rear part of an operating lever 4 of the console box 13. An opening 23 is further formed at the front face of the console box 13 so as to allow the gate bar 15 to go in and out of the console box 13, and a connecting rod 22 for connecting an application point part 21 of the gate bar operating lever 16 to a force point part 20 of the gate bar 15 is provided in the console box 13.
