PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact a rice polishing machine and an unpolished rice storage chamber by installing the rice polishing machine for polishing unpolished rice and the storage chamber for storing the unpolished rice in an single unit and unifying them. SOLUTION: A rice polishing machine 13 is for polishing unpolished rice, and on the side thereof, a storage chamber 11 in which bags 16 packed with unpolished rice are piled up and stored is arranged, and also, a storage chamber 12 for storing the unpolished rice taken out from the bags 16 is agganged above the rice polishing machine 13 through a feed quantity adjusting mechanism 14. And by the feed quantity adjusting mechanism 14, the unpolished rice in the storage chamber 12 is fed into the rice polishing machine 13 by the necessary prescribed quantity. The rice polishing machine 13 is provided by unifying a polished rice carrying part 18 and a rice bran storage part 19, and polished rice treated by the rice polishing machine 13 is carried out to a rice cooker or the like from the polished rice carrying part 18, and rice bran discharged from the rice polishing machine 13 is stored in a rice bran storage part 19. And, the unpolished rice in the storage chambers 11, 12 is cooled by a cooling unit 15 to suppress the deterioration of the unpolished rice during storage.
