PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve solid of ink onto the printed web or sheet over an entire printed image by the use of one or more inking rollers with an outside surface made of a rigid elastic polymeric material having an A-type Shore durometer hardness of a specific value. SOLUTION: There are used one or more inking rollers with an outside surface made of a rigid elastic polymeric material having an A-type Shore durometer hardness in the range of 50-100 in order to transfer ink to a plate cylinder. Each inking roller F1, F2, F3 has an inside 30 formed of material being relatively durable and having rigidity as steel, and the inside 30 has a journal 22 for rotatably securing the inking rollers F1-F3 at either end. An outside layer 21 is provided at least on a part in the axial direction length of the inside 30, and the outside layer 21 is formed of an elastic polymer material being an appropriate compressed material such as a BunaO-rubber compound. |
