<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify exhaust gas by removing harmful components in the exhaust gas from an iron and steel smelting furnace stably at low cost. SOLUTION: A charcoal adsorption column into which gas discharged from an iron and steel smelting furnace is introduced is installed, and an adsorbent is packed in the column to adsorb harmful components contained in the gas discharged from the smelting furnace. Active carbon, charcoal, and carbonized waste wood or lumber for thinning are suitable for the adsorbent.</p> |
