COPPER-ALUMINUM CONNECTING PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent intrusion of an intermetallic product by flash butt welding into a pipe and eliminate removing work of the intermetallic product. SOLUTION: It is a copper-aluminum connecting pipe 10 to connect end parts of a copper pipe 20 and an aluminum pipe 30 to each other by flash butt welding. The end part of the copper pipe 20 is arranged on the inside of a connecting side end part of the aluminum pipe 30 with a specified interval in the inside diametrical direction from the aluminum pipe 30 by applying diameter contracting work on the end part of the copper pipe 20. Thereafter, its small diametrical pipe part 22 is constituted as an inner pipe for a barrier to receive an intermetallic product 40 to be produced by flash butt welding.
