摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute stable and high-accuracy flying change by tracking a flying changing point, gathering the actual value of rolling load just before the changing point reaches a stand, calculating the amount to be changed of screw-down location at the time of flying changing and also changing the screw-down location according to a prescribed changing pattern. SOLUTION: A load detector 20 for detecting rolling load applied to a work roll 12, screw-down location controller 22, mill constant variable controller 24 and part 30 for calculating the amount to be changed of the screw-down location are provided. Then, the actual value of the rolling load of a preceding material before flying change, actual values of thicknesses on the inlet and outlet sides and the like are inputted to the part 30 for calculating the amount to be changed of the screw-down location. And, the mill constant is corrected with the mill constant variable controller 24 and the amounts to be changed of the screw-down locations of the preceding and succeeding materials are determined. The amounts to be changed of the screw-down locations are outputted to the screw-down location controller 22 according to the prescribed changing pattern (for example, rectilinear) from the timing when the flying changing point reaches that stand and the screw-down locations are changed. Because the screw- down location and rectilinearly changed, control is simple.</p>
