<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the direction of the shot by providing a movable weight in a club head. SOLUTION: The inside of a head case 2 which is fixed to the tip of a shaft, is hollow, and a rectangular opening 3 is provided on the front face. At the center of the opening 3, a central pin 5 is vertically erected, and to the central pin 5, a face 6 is turnably attached, and the opening 3 is closed with the face 6. To the internal center of the face 6, an elastic member 7 made of a rubber or sponge or the like is bonded. In the head case 2, two supporting pins 11 are erected at equally distant locations from the central pin 5, and a weight 12 made of a metal is respectively attached to respective supporting pins 11 in a manner to be turnable around respective supporting pins 11. Either one of the two internal and external weights 12 has a fan-shape, and one end 13 of the fan-shape comes into contact with the end part of the face 6. From the inside of the fan-shape, an arm 15 extends into a hook-shape, and the tip end comes into contact with the elastic member 7.</p> |
