PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer compsn. excellent in dialysis performance and antithrombotic activity by compounding a polyalkyl ether/polyaryl ether sulfone copolymer having specified reduced viscosity and solubility parameter with a polyether sulfone in a specified wt. ratio. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises 1-50 pts.wt. polyalkyl ether/polyaryl ether sulfone copolymer having a reduced viscosity (at 35 deg.C at a concn. of 1.2 g/dl in a solvent mixture comprising phenol/1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane in a wt. ratio of 6/4) of 0.5 or higher and a solubility parameter of 9.0-14.0 and 99-50 pts.wt. polyether sulfone. The copolymer comprises repeating units of formulas I to III, provided the content of the repeating unit of formula III is 10-90 wt.% of the sum of repeating units of formulas I to III. In the formulas X is SO2; Ar, Ar1, and Ar2 are each a 6-30C divalent arom. group; R is 2-3C alkylene; and k is such a number of repeating as to give a mol.wt. of 2,000-20,000. |
