PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polystyrene-based resin foamed material for an insulation material having a small reduction of the heat insulating performance with time and a small dimensional change with time, without using a harmful chlorofluorocarbon (Furon-12), etc., and to obtain the same insulating material. SOLUTION: This method for producing a polystyrene-based resin foamed material for an insulation material, is to use a mixed blowing agent consisting of 30-80 mol.% 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane 20-55 mol.% isobutane and 0-30 mol.% other blowing agent (the total sum of the mixed blowing agent is 100 mol.%) in producing a polystyrene-based resin foamed material by extruding a molten mixture of a polystyrene-based resin and a volatile blowing agent for blowing. |
