PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite helmet capable of further improving the impact resistance and light weight of a helmet comprising a plastic or a metal by detachably attaching or fixing a hollow molded product to a helmet main body. SOLUTION: This lightweight composite helmet is obtained by attaching or fixing a hollow truncated pyramidal molded product to the outer surface of a helmet main body comprising a plastic or a metal. The hollow truncated pyramidal molded product is obtained by cutting off the central portion of a hollow truncated pyramidal molded product in a constant width nipping the central line of the bottom surface in the direction vertical to the bottom surface and subsequently integrally bonding the obtained pieces to form the laterally symmetric combined product.
