PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for composition for an annealing furnace which provides a means accurately controlling the transition of sheet temp. near the welded point at the time of executing a continuous annealing treatment, even in the case of developing the time lag in the change of the furnace temp. SOLUTION: In the control device of the combustion for the annealing furnace provided with a sheet temp. predicting model 106 which simulates the sheet temp. transition in the continuous annealing furnace 102 for removing the residual stress by continuously heating, holding and cooling the sheet having different specifications of target sheet temp., sheet thickness, etc., a furnace temp. command calculating part 107 which calculate the necessary furnace temp. command to control the sheet temp. at the outlet side of the furnace 102 with the model 106, and a controlling part 104 which controls the furnace 102 based on the furnace temp. command, an evaluating index deciding part 109 which calculates a value of the evaluating index for quantitatively evaluating the sheet temp. distribution at the outlet side near the changing point of the specification based on a product specifications of the target sheet temp., the precedence of the sheet before and after changing point of the specification, etc., by using the model 106 and the calculated furnace temp. command, and a command charging timing optimization part 108 which calculates the furnace temp. command changing timing for optimizing the value of the evaluating index and outputs to a control part 104, are provided.
