<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge chips from a cut portion by air even if shaving machining is performed by means of dry cutting. SOLUTION: An air jetting-out hole 6 is formed in the tooth bottom of a shaving cutter 1, an air supplying path 21 for supplying air to the air jetting-out hole 6 of the shaving cutter 1 is provided in a cutter head main spindle 14, and during cutting, chips are discharged from a cut portion by air by jetting out the air from the air jetting-out hole 6 to the cut portion. Thus, even if shaving machining is performed by means of dry cutting, the discharging of chips from the cut portion is surely performed by air.</p> |
