PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping connector which can be fabricated simply and at a low cost. SOLUTION: A wrapping connector 10 for a continuously variable transmission, in particular for automobile, are arranged between a first conical disc couple and a second conical disc couple of the transmission within a flux of torque flow and equipped with a plurality of pressure-resisting pieces 4 and 5 directed perpendicularly to the running direction of the links, and the pressure- resisting pieces 4 are engaged with openings 6 formed in a plurality of link plates 1, 2, 3 arranged parallel with the running direction, and the link plates are hinge coupled by the pressure-resisting pieces, wherein at least each pressure- resisting piece 4/5 is furnished only on one side with a projection 7 to serve as a missing protecting means for link plate and/or as an abutting region.
