PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking-bar shutter, by which a sliding door is closed surely at the place of closing and in which there is no projecting lock member at the place of opening. SOLUTION: A slit 13, in and from which a lock member 30 is projected and retreated, is formed to a cover member 20, and a functional member 12 such as a push bar operating the lock member 30 is installed slidably to the rear of the cover member 20 and connected to the driving section of a handle, etc. The lock member 30 is supported by a housing block 50 on the rear of the cover member 20 holding a case 52, in which a cam 53 is mounted on a bottom section. The lock member 30 is connected to the functional member 12 by two bolts, coupled rotatably while using the above-mentioned bolts as axes, and moved vertically to the place of locking and the place of opening, the cover member 20, with sliding and contacting with the above-mentioned cam with the movement of the functional member 12, and sunk into a door end face at the place of opening.
