PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the feeling of boredom to improve interest in a game machine wherein a game is performed using a game ball in a game region and a special game area is provided in the game region. SOLUTION: An action hole 3 and a big prize hole 4 are provided on a game board 2 of a pachinko machine 1. A display device 8 with a display part 8a is incorporated into the central portion of the board 2. The device 8 has a center frame 21 which is provided before the part 8a so as to surround it. The frame 21 has a ceiling part 23, left and right sides 24, and a lower part 25. A game ball 5 which has entered an inlet part 27 of the part 23 is guided onto a stage 29 through a game ball passage 31. The stage 29 has a height which varies continuously along its surface and a mountain-shaped protrusion 32 is formed near the center of the stage 29, while the left and right sides thereof have recesses 33 respectively.
