PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety ashtray designed to obviate such problems that conventional ashtrays may overturn when the periphery is pressed by hand or treaded by foot, and cigarette butt(s), light(s) thereof, cigarette ash, etc., may spill out of an ashtray with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: This safety ashtray is so designed as to internally lean the peripheral wall so as not to overturn even if pressed by hand or treaded by foot, and locate cigarette rests 2 and a wall 3 for supporting them so as to be lower than the peripheral wall so that cigarette butt(s), light(s) thereof, cigarette ash, etc., may not spill out of the ashtray even with the lapse of time.
