PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling control device to completely shut off an air spring from an air drier in a fundamental state and perform rapid exhaust of the air spring. SOLUTION: An automobile is elastically supported at least at a single axle by air springs 8a-8d, and this leveling control device comprises a compressed air source 2; an air drier 4; and the pneumatic control input 38 of a first direction control valve 10 controllable of an air pressure, and first and third direction control valves 10 and 14 to force an air spring into an empty state are pneumatically controlled through a controllable second direction control valve 12. In the so formed leveling control device for an automobile, since the air drier 4 forces the air springs 8a-8d into an empty state, meanwhile, the air drier is connected to the air spring through the pneumatically controllable third direction control valve 14. In this case, the pneumatic control input 44 of the third direction control valve is energized by a pressure in the air spring against a return force 52 exerted on a pneumatic control input.
