PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To almost omit frame body corrective machining in a process of manufacturing a frame body of a decorative cover made of cast iron or in a decorative cover building-up process which is an after-process and to minimize labor required for the corrective machining even in the case of needing the corrective machining in the building-up process. SOLUTION: This decorative cover 14 made of cast iron comprises a frame body 12 of square shape from the top view, and a cover body dropped into the frame body 12. Two protruding parts 17 are provided at an outer peripheral surface 12b, in positions toward two corner parts 12c from the longitudinal center part 12a of a longitudinal wall part 11 constituting the frame body 12, and the thickness of the longitudinal wall part 11 between the protruding parts 17 is made thinner. Accordingly, even if the center part 12a between the protruding part 17 bulges outward in a casting process, the bulge part need not be cut.
