PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing foam rubber coated cloth excellent in finished appearance and feeling, in which foam layer rubber doesn't exude onto the surface of outer material and dyed patterns of outer material don't migrate to foam rubber layer or to desk mat or the like being in contact with the layer, don't change color and don't curve, when producing foam rubber coated cloth using a dyed outer material through calendering. SOLUTION: When producing foam rubber coated cloth using a dyed outer material, the method of this invention is as follows: (1) laminating a foaming agent-including rubber composition 1 in a kneaded state through calendering on separable substrate cloth 3; (2) foaming and curing the foaming agent- including rubber layer; (3) forming a layer treated for preventing exudation on the underside of the dyed outer material: (4) bonding the outer material to the separable substrate cloth 3 with an adhesive so that the layer treated for preventing exudation comes into contact with the laminated, foamed layer 6; and (5) separating the cloth 3.
