PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas oven having a widened heat dwelling space for a combustion gas in an upper part of an interior of a combustion chamber for avoiding uneven baking of a matter to be baked. SOLUTION: A fixed type oven 1 is provided with a baking chamber 11 capable of containing a matter to be baked such as a dough for bread or the like. An upper firing burner 3a is provided in an upper part of the baking chamber 11, and a lower firing burner 3b is provided in a lower part of the baking chamber 11. A plurality of upper exhaust outlets for discharging combustion gas of a gas fuel burned by the lower firing burner outside are provided and the outlets 4a are located at positions lower than a burner port of the upper firing burner 3a.
