PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-nozzle burner which is excellent in uniformity of combustion so as to realize the reducing flame shield in effecting the hot welding of steels. SOLUTION: In a multi-nozzle burner to uniformly supply a fuel gas and a combustion air to a plurality of arranged nozzle burners through supply passages 12, 13 to communicate with a header, the header comprises primary headers 23, 24 and secondary headers 25, 26, and a plurality of connection holes 16, 17 are provided in a partition to shield the primary headers 23, 24 from the secondary headers 25, 26. In the multi-nozzle burner, it is preferable to appropriately control the relationship between the total flow rate of the fuel gas or the combustion air and the internal volume of the primary headers 23, 24 or the secondary headers 25, 26, and the number, the total sectional area, etc., of the connection holes 16, 17 in the partition to shield the primary headers 23, 24 from the secondary headers 25, 26.
