PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically or manually carry out the driving operation of a work in bending and to automatically incorporate a driving process in the end of a bending process by an NC device to automatically execute it. SOLUTION: A target angle is set to a driving control means 31 and by receiving the transmission of an operation command from an NC device when temporary bending for bending a work up to the vicinity of a temporary bending angle smaller than the target angle, is finished pulses of the number required for making the NC device execute driving operation by the driving control means 31 are transmitted and when the measurement value of the angle by the driving operation reaches the angle corresponding to the target angle, the pulse transmission from the driving control means 31 to the NC device is stopped. By transmitting the required pulses by the feed control means 31 upon receipt of the operation command from the NC device after the end of the temporary bending and stopping the transmission of the pulses at the time of finishing the driving, the driving operation is automatically executed and the automatic driving operation can be exactly executed by incorporating it in the end of the bending process by the NC device.
