PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a disadvantage caused by drift of a synchronizing hub, which is possibly caused in a synchronizer for a planetary type transmission. SOLUTION: A synchronizing hub 9 is journalled to an output shaft 4 of a planetary type transmission through the intermediary of a baring 15, and the synchronizing hub 9 and a boss part of a ring gear flange 8 are spline- engaged with each other, having a play therebetween. With this arrangement, motion of the ring gear 8 is absorbed through the play, thereby it is possible to prevent drift of the synchronizing gear 9.
