PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized and economical air cleaner having a high air blowing capacity, capable of purifying interior air within a short time without generating unpleasant noise during operation. SOLUTION: A main body front part 21 having a large number of air suction holes 20 in the front face and a main body rear part 22 are assembled to be a box a filter 24 for duct collection and deodorization is installed in the box and a partitioning wall 23 in which a suction part 26 is opened is also installed behind the filter 24 in the box, a swirling chamber 25 is formed by the partitioning wall 23 and the wall face of the main body rear part 22, a fan 28 having an installation part which is attached to a driving motor 29 as a fan base 28a and comprising a large number of blades 30 set uprightly toward the suction part 26 side is housed in the swirling chamber 25 an inclined tongue part 33 making the open length of the discharge outlet part of the swirling chamber 25 longer in the fan base 28a side than in the suction part 26 side is installed, and the gap between the inclined tongue part 33 and the outer circumferential end of the blade parts of the fan 28 is set at one twenty seventh ratio of the diameter of the blade parts or narrower. |
