PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic elevator in which the inside of a hydraulic pump can be filled with oil by revolving an installed motor when the hydraulic pump and the installed motor are stopped in a state that the inside of the hydraulic pump is not filled with oil. SOLUTION: In a hydraulic elevator elevating and lowering a car 2 within a hoistway 1 by controlling flow rate of a reversible hydraulic pump 10 by controlling rotational speed of a three-phase induction motor 11 by a control device 15 and pushing up a plunger 5 by feeding oil from a hydraulic tank 6 to a hydraulic cylinder 4, a means for revolving the motor 11 in the direction supplying oil into the hydraulic pump 10 by a control device 15 after power is restored is constituted when there is a possibility that the motor 11 is stopped in a state that a power failure occurs during a normal lowering operation, power is not supplied, a check valve 8 is closed by an electromagnetic switching valve 9, a car is suddenly stopped and the inside of the hydraulic pump 10 is not filled with oil. |
