PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the height standing from an article housing device at the lowermost tier to the article housing device at the uppermost tier when a plurality of article housing devices, each being folded up, are heaped up in tiers. SOLUTION: For an article housing device 1 wherein latticelike members 3-6 at the front and the rear and on the right and the left can be folded up on a bottom latticelike member 2, each of a plurality of leg bodies 8 provided at the bottom latticelike member 2 is provided with a grounding face 40, a receiving face 41 that can be mounted on the upper ends of the latticelike members on the right and the left of the article housing device 1 placed at the lower tier when heaped up under the state of being fabricated, and a support member 38 that supports the grounding face 40 of the leg body 8 of the article housing device 1 placed at the upper tier when heaped up under the state of being folded up, and the grounding face 40 is positioned at a place lower than and at the outside of the receiving face 41 while a space 48 for housing the folded-up latticelike members 3-6 of the article housing device 1 at the lower tier is formed between the receiving face 41 of the article housing device 1 placed at the upper tier when heaped up under the state of being folded up and the bottom latticelike member 2 of the article housing device 1 at the lower tier. |
