PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel aromatic compound useful as an antifungal agent. SOLUTION: This compound is shown by formula I (R1 is a F-containing aromatic compound; R2 is a 1-4C alkyl; and R3 is a hydrocarbon having at least 6πelectrons), e.g. N-(4-tertiary-butylbenzyl)-N- methyl-2-2-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-2-propenylamine. The compound shown by formula I is obtained by acetylating an aromatic compound or a halide thereof in the presence of Lewis acid, substituting H in the acetyl group's methyl with a halogen, condensing the product with the corresponding amine in the presence of an alkali to produce the compound shown by formula III, and causing the Witting reaction with the compound shown by formula III. When the compound shown by formula I is administered orally or by injection as an antifungal agent, the recommended dosage is 1 to 10,000 mg a day once or several times for an adult.
