PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temperature fluctuation of wash water in a sanitary washing device with a heating means for heating wash water while making wash water flow. SOLUTION: In a sanitary washing device, an instantaneous type heat exchanger 40 and a temperature compensator 110 are provided in a passage extended into a position where wash water supplied from the outside is jetted from a nozzle 70. The temperature compensator 110 is a tank that can store a small quantity of wash water. Heated wash water is jetted from the nozzle 70 after being mixed with wash water stored in the temperature compensator 110. The temperature fluctuation of wash water can be suppressed by this mixing. In prewashing before main washing, wash water of higher temperature than assigned temperature is made to flow. The temperature of stored wash water can therefore be sufficiently heightened in a short time. As a result, wash water of almost constant assigned temperature is jetted in main washing so as to realize comfortable washing.
