PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fine-spun twisted union yarn by using metallically lustered yarn as slit yarn afforded from a laminate made by providing the surface of a film with a metallic thin film, so as to obtain a fabric improved in skin touch or the like and furnished with designability. SOLUTION: This fine-spun twisted union yarn is such as to be composed of core yarn, metallically lustered yarn prepared by slitting a laminate made of at least a substrate and a metallic thin film layer and sheath yarn, short fiber spun yarn e.g. consisting mainly of one of cotton yarn, regenerated cellulose fiber, hemp, cellulose acetate-based fiber or the like and cellulose-based fiber. The other objective fabric is obtained by using the above fine-spun twisted union yarn; more precisely, in the fabric, the union yarn is processed to remove some portion of the short fiber spun yarn as the sheath yarn so as to expose the core yarn at the above some portion.
