PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake device excellent in workability of tension adjustment made by cable tension adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: In this parking brake device 10, a connecting member 44 to which a cable C is connected, is slidably supported to a base member 20, and a brake lever 30 is pivotally fixed in a rising/falling manner near an extension line in the sliding direction of the connecting member 44. An intermediate position of the brake lever 30 is then connected to the connecting member 44 using a junction member 43 to constitute toggle mechanism. Tension adjusting mechanism 40 mediating connection between the brake lever 30 and the cable C and adjusting the tension of the cable C is provided in a position off an output axis to be a pulled direction of the cable C when the brake lever 30 is operated. |
