PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior trim plate for an automobile in which mechanical strength such as rigidity is excellent and outward appearance is good by only applying a paint film to the outer surface without performing polishing and wet sanding of the outer surface in a blow molded exterior trim plate molded product for the automobile. SOLUTION: Molds 4, 5 having such fine unevennesses are used that surface roughness of cavities 4a, 5a is 0.9-9.0μm and average crest intervals are held in a range of 10-150μm. A parison 3 consisting of crystalline resin having >=9000 kg/cm2 bending elasticity modulus at 23 deg.C is arranged between the mold- opened molds 4, 5. Thereafter, pressurized air is introduced into the parison 3 and the parison 3 is closely stuck to the cavities. Temperature rise is performed so that the surface temperature Y deg.C of the cavities during adhesion becomes (crystallization peak temperature in the DSC curve of this crystalline resin)<Y<(melting peak temperature in the DSC curve of this crystalline resin) and blow molding is performed. Then, a paint film is directly applied to the outer surface of the exterior trim plate molded product 1 for an automobile. |
