PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for a gas stove capable of removing a stained face by a simple work of separating a separable sheet so as to expose a new face for continuous use. SOLUTION: This mat 1 for a gas stove is a mat for a gas stove laid under the gas stove A, and comprises a substrate sheet and a separable sheet 12 separably laminated on a top face of the substrate sheet, and leg placing parts 12b for placing support legs A1 protruding in a bottom face of the gas stove are formed in such a manner as to be capable of being separated from the separable sheet 12 by slits 12a. In this case, because the constitution wherein the separable sheet 12 can be removed through a bottom side clearance of the gas stove A without removing the gas stove A is employed while the leg placing parts 12b are left as they are, a stained separable sheet as an uppermost layer can be smoothly and surely removed without removing the gas stove, and a new unstained face can be exposed.
