PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule of a stick which places a stress on slip-proofing and includes a wide range nonslip means and its ground contact member. SOLUTION: This ferrule (a) of the stick is constituted by forming its external contour shape to an approximately circular truncated cone shape, forming the rear surface at the ground contact surface 1, opening a depressed groove 2 of a required diameter and required depth on the front surface and disposing a nonslip means on the ground contact surface 1. In such a case, the nonslip means consists of a pawl body 5 which is freely undulatably and pivotally supported to the ground contact surface 1. Asides therefrom, the means consisting of the freely elastically deformable ground contact surface 1 and the freely elastically deformable pawl body engaged with the ground contact surface 1 by projecting its bottom end or the means consisting of the freely elastically deformable ground contact surface 1 and the pawl bodies embedded in a required number into the ground contact surface 1 by projecting their bottom ends is exemplified. The nonslip means even for the ground contact members A to C of the ferrule are similar to those described above.
