PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming material, in which an ablated image forming layer side is employed as an image so as to give an enough density and, at the same time, the residual percentage of an ablated portion is small and an image of high resolution can be obtained, and an image forming method using the image forming material. SOLUTION: In this image forming material, an image forming layer and a releasing layer, which is pasted through a fine spherical self-adhesive to the image forming layer, in the order named on a support. When the image forming material is exposed by a high density energy light, the bonding strength between the image forming layer and the releasing layer at an exposed part becomes larger than that bonding strength at a non-exposed part. As an image forming method, after the image forming material is image-likely exposed by a high density energy light, the releasing layer is separated for forming an image. |
