PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a seal structure to press a slide contacting ring made of resin by an energizing means to one of the opposing side surfaces of a piston and cylinder through a force applying ring. SOLUTION: An outer ring 20 formed endlessly with polyimide is pressed by a coil expander 40 to the outside in radial direction of a piston through an inner ring 30 of steel equipped with an abutment. The outer ring sliding surface with the cylinder wall 200 is divided by a groove 23 into upper and lower sliding surfaces 24 and 25 whose top edges are chamfered 26 and 27.
