PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stair cleaning device of a passenger conveyor capable of efficiently cleaning a cleat groove of a stair by preventing dust rubbed and removed with brush from remaining sticking to the cleat groove due to static electricity. SOLUTION: In a stair cleaning device for a passenger conveyor constituted by having movable parts such as a plurality of endlessly connected stairs and a handrail moving by synchronizing these stairs and a fixing part such as a frame supporting these movable parts and providing a brush-shaped cleaning body 13 fitting into cleat grooves of the stairs on the side of this fixing part, a brush part 14 of the brush-shaped cleaning device 13 is attained by making carbon fiber 17, 17a, 17b, 17c coexist in an electrically conducting state to the side of the fixing part in a brush bundle 14a.
