PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance comfortableness of sleeping and to maintain a heat reserving property around an arm of a user during sleeping by arranging an opening part defined by outer side parts in a head part of a sleeping bag, arranging a hood, and forming the hood into a shape having a substantially rectangular outer side part. SOLUTION: In a sleeping bag 10, a hood area 14 is arranged so that arms of a user are positioned loosely if the user crosses the arms beneath the head so as to support the head part vertically during sleeping inside the sleeping bag 10, and consequently, an excellent heat reserving environment can be maintained for the arms as well as for the head part. When a drawstring 19 is loosened, the hood area 14 is provided with a substantially rectangular outside side part defined by corner parts 20, 21 and substantially parallel side walls 23, 24. In addition, zippers 16, 17 extended radially in a curved line from an opening part 25 of the hood part 14 are arranged. When the zippers 16, 17 are opened, an area of the opening part 25 can be widened.
