PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable game machine with a pedometer capable of not only counting and displaying a walking amount but also visually easily understandably confirming a walking condition and an advancing condition in a walking course, providing an achieving feeling and making walking enjoyable. SOLUTION: This game machine is provided with a map data storage means 21 for storing the map data of the walking course, a walking amount measurement means 22 for successively measuring the walking amount based on the counting information of the pedometer and the step information of a carrier, a cumulative result recording means 22 for recording the cumulative result for each period of the walking amount cumulatively computed for each prescribed period based on calendar data, an advancing condition display control means 29 for calculating a present position on the walking course based on the measurement information of the walking amount and the map data and displaying the advancing condition at a display part and a cumulative result display control means 28 (, 29) for changing the scale of the map data of the walking course corresponding to the length of the respective periods and displaying the cumulative result of the walking amount at the display part at the time of displaying it for the respective periods.
