PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect a patient from the influence of cardiac arrhythmia while the patient is in normal daily activity by providing a means for supporting a curing electrode adjacent to the skin of the patient, and providing the support means with an endless layer including a conductor means for connecting an electrode to a power supply. SOLUTION: A first and a second detecting and pulse electrode assemblies 20, 20 are fitted to a belt 14 having conductors 28, 30 and a shoulder strap 18. A pulse transmitter 24 is fitted to the belt 14, whereby an electric signal is received from each electrode assembly 20 or an electric pulse is transmitted through a support strap 26 connected to the strap 18. Each assembly 20 has a detecting electrode 22 and a pulse electrode 32, and heart rhythm is continuously monitored by the detecting electrode 22. When the detecting electrode 22 detects arrhythmia of the heart to be cured, a detection signal is transmitted to a pulse transmitter 24 and in response to the signal, a suitable curing pulse is sent back from the pulse transmitter 24 to each pulse electrode 32.
